GENERAL OVERVIEW:
This job establishes the change and release processes and procedures to authorize changes and minimize downtime of critical systems and infrastructure. The incumbent coordinates all aspects of the change and release process for the Epic application and ensures the process is communicated, executed, and audited. In addition, this position will work closely with the technical teams and vendor to coordinate Code installs, manage the Epic environment strategy, and support the architecture of the Epic application.

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Sherlock Administration, Monitor and assist with SLG's, Monitor and sign Release Authorizations. (5%)
  • Change management: Reviewing all Epic changes, running the CAB, updating implementation dates as necessary, monitoring standard changes, Creating standard templates as appropriate. (50%)
  • Release Management: Review of Care Concern bulletins for impact, Tracking of code needed for issue resolution, Ad Hoc Code management, Patient safety escalations and Security vulnerability escalations, Nova Administration, Coordination and management of downtime activities. (20%)
  • Environment planning and strategy: Run Meeting and maintain agendas and minutes, Environment planning calendar maintenance, lead the strategy discussions. (15%)
  • Data Courier Administration. (10%)



QUALIFICATIONS:

Minimum
  • Bachelor’ s in Information Technology, technology, or other relevant area
  • 3-5 years of Epic Application experience
  • 5-7 years of Information Systems experience



Preferred
  • 1-3 years of ITIL Change and Release management process experience
  • 1-3 years of IT project management experience
  • 1-3 years of audit and compliance experience
