Job Summary:
The ERP Research Lead is responsible for gathering, analyzing, and interpreting data from ERP systems to support business operations, enhance system performance, and optimize workflows. This role involves collaborating with stakeholders, conducting research on ERP trends, and ensuring that the organization’s ERP system is aligned with business objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Data Analysis:
    • Analyze data from ERP systems to identify trends, inefficiencies, and opportunities for improvement.
    • Develop reports and dashboards to present data findings to management and key stakeholders.
  • ERP System Research:
    • Conduct research on emerging ERP trends, best practices, and new features that may benefit the organization.
    • Evaluate new ERP tools or modules and provide recommendations based on research and data analysis.
  • Requirements Gathering:
    • Collaborate with various departments to gather business requirements and understand their ERP needs.
    • Translate business needs into technical specifications for ERP system enhancements or modifications.
  • ERP System Monitoring & Troubleshooting:
    • Monitor ERP system performance and usage to ensure optimal operation.
    • Assist in troubleshooting and resolving ERP system issues, ensuring timely problem resolution.
  • Documentation:
    • Create and maintain documentation on ERP processes, configurations, and workflows.
    • Provide training materials and support to end-users for ERP system functionalities.
  • Stakeholder Communication:
    • Serve as a liaison between the IT team and business departments to ensure proper communication and understanding of ERP capabilities.
    • Assist in coordinating ERP-related projects, including system upgrades, implementations, and integrations.
Qualifications:
  • Education:
    • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, Business, or a related field.
  • Experience:
    • 2-4 years of experience working with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Workday, Microsoft Dynamics, etc.).
    • Experience in data analysis and reporting using ERP tools and databases.
    • Familiarity with ERP research, implementation, and system optimization.
  • Skills:
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
    • Proficiency in data analysis tools (Excel, SQL, BI tools) and ERP systems.
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
    • Knowledge of ERP system architecture and modules.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with ERP system integrations.
  • Certification in ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, or Workday.
  • Experience in conducting research on ERP system developments.
